Swimming pools, schools, sports halls are some of the Local Administration's public infrastructures that can apply for support from the Algarve Operational Program (Algarve2020) to improve their Energy Efficiency.
For this purpose, the ALG Notice - 03 -2017-08 is open, in the field of Sustainability and Efficiency in the Use of Resources, which aims to support projects that contemplate the implementation of energy efficiency measures, in the existing infrastructure and equipment of the Local Administration, with recourse to the support of refundable grants and non-refundable grants, the latter being mandatory for audits and studies.
Local authorities, their Associations and companies in the local business sector 100% owned by public entities can apply as potential beneficiaries.
Applications will be received within the deadlines indicated, with a maximum indicative allocation of ERDF of 5 million euros, in the following periods:
• 1st Phase: From 15th November 2017 until 17:59h on 31st December 2017;
• 2nd Phase: From January 1, 2018 until 17:59 pm on February 28, 2018;
• 3rd Phase: From March 1, 2018 until 17:59 pm on April 30, 2018.
The maximum period for completing the operations to be applied for under the aforementioned Notice is three years (36 months) counted from the date of signature of the Term of Acceptance.
