Portinado was the big winner of the Lagoa Swimming Trophy, played this weekend in the municipal swimming pools of that city. The team from Portimão reached 1732 points, ahead of the home team, Lagoa Académico Clube (LAC), with 1122 points, and Louletano Sports Club, with 1116 points.
The third edition of the Lagoa Trophy, organized by LAC, took place on the 28th and 29th of October, with the presence of 11 teams, nine from the Algarve Swimming Association, one from ANDS and a German team.
Portinado was represented by 38 athletes from the Infantile (15), Youth (15) and Junior (8) classes.
Portimão's swimmers achieved a total of 183 new personal records and achieved 97 podium appearances (37 Golds, 35 Silvers and 25 Bronzes) in the various levels.
