The “Private Luxury Forums Europe”, an exclusive initiative that brings together the main players in the luxury tourism industry, is taking place until Thursday, October 19, at the Pine Cliffs Resort, in Albufeira. 

This event promotes «meetings and socialization and networking actions», explains the Associação Turismo do Algarve (ATA), which is participating and supporting the initiative.

«Characterized by a judicious choice of buyers [Buyers] of this segment present at the event, the participants will have, throughout these four days, the opportunity, through an intense program of activities, to gather and establish actions of networking with the main specialists in the area of ​​luxury tourism, from operators and travel agencies exclusively dedicated to this segment, to other professionals such as private travel designers ou lifestyle and travel consultants».

In total, the meeting will be attended by 150 buyers luxury and 150 suppliers (including representatives of hotels, agencies and tour and destination operators).

«The fact that we were able to bring this event to the Algarve represents, in tourist terms, an excellent opportunity to strengthen the region's international recognition and projection as an appealing and surprising destination that presents, in an integrated manner in its diversified offer, a whole infrastructure and luxury assets, combined with an excellent value for money», explains Dora Coelho, executive director of ATA.

After the conclusion of the event, the Algarve Tourism Association has also prepared the organization of a post tour, which will run from the 19th to the 21st of October, aimed at the top 20 buyers who attended this meeting.

This selected group will have the opportunity to discover, on the ground, some of the most recent innovations in terms of tourism offer in the destination, as well as experience the diversity of products in the segment luxury e upscale.

«We want this post tour function as the perfect showcase for participants to get to know up close and understand what makes our offer unique and differentiating from other destinations», concludes Dora Coelho.
