A man died following the crash of an ultralight aircraft in a vacant lot in the parish of Quelfes, in Olhão. The accident happened this Thursday, October 5th, around 17:00, and killed the only occupant of the aircraft, of English nationality, he revealed to the Sul Informação the District Relief Operations Command.
Second the newspaper Correio da Manhã, which spread the news, the man will be 70 years old and will have crashed in a land located at the back of a restaurant, where a small air club operates.
The fall did not cause damage to third parties, said the CDOS, but, according to that newspaper, it must have happened near a house and a restaurant.
On the ground, at 20:30 pm today, 16 operational workers were still supported by six vehicles.
