Two guided visits to the exhibition “Mediterranean Diet, Millennial Cultural Heritage”, on display at the Municipal Museum of Tavira – Palácio da Galeria, take place on September 9th and 10th, at 18 pm.
Under the guidance of anthropologist Luísa Ricardo, the initiatives last approximately 40 minutes, are free and do not require advance booking.
The exhibition “reflects the history and stories, the food, from the landscape to the plate, the rhythms and beats of the festival, everyday gestures and memories of the past”, explains Câmara de Tavira.
During the Mediterranean Diet Fair, under which these guided tours are promoted, the Municipal Museum of Tavira (Palácio da Galeria and Islamic Nucleus) is open to the public between 11:30 am and 22:30 pm.
