A concert by “Sam Alone & The Gravediggers” and the group “The Psycho Tramps” on 15 September, starting at 21 pm, at Escola Secundária de Silves, will mark the beginning of another school year.
This will be the first “Youth +” concert. Sam Alone, Pedro Matos, Guru Marque, João Brito, Roy Duke, Ricardo Cabrita are the members of the Quarteirense group “Sam Alone & The Gravediggers”, of style folk.
In Sam Alone, the message is “to keep a positive attitude while dealing with the frustration of social injustices, striving to make the world a better place. Accompanied by the “Gravediggers”, who share the same vision of playing organic music, music for the people, they have roots in the folk American and classic protest songs, but with a fresh and contemporary approach», explains Câmara de Silves.
As for the “Psycho Tramps” they are composed by Miguel Roque, José Alves, Marco Dores, Ramon Contreras and David Sabino. The Algarve group of punk rock, with a strong connection to the municipality of Silves, «is in this month of September six years of existence», according to the municipality of Silvense.
