The construction of new accesses to the Troto Variant on the EN125, from the IKEA commercial complex in Loulé, can already be advanced. The work, budgeted at 530 thousand euros, will be paid by the Swedish economic group and includes the installation of two roundabouts on the EN125-4, which will allow those coming from the Barlavento Algarvio to access the commercial area directly and vice versa.

The agreement that will allow the intervention to proceed was signed today, September 22, between the company Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP), the consortium RAL – Rotas do Algarve Litoral, the Municipality of Loulé and IKEA.

According to IP, it was agreed that "the municipality will provide the necessary land and IKEA will carry out the work", which is part of the urbanization plan for the area where the Algarve Commercial Complex is located, which, in addition to a store of this brand, will have soon with a shopping center, Mar Shopping, and an outlet.

This solution, adds the company, "will create a new accessibility for the traffic that seeks that commercial space, guaranteeing conditions of fluidity and safety in circulation".

For now, a schedule for this work has not yet been defined.
