CNE forces Rosa Palma to remove billboards about future works in Silves

The mayor of Silves, who is re-candidate for the position, was forced by the National Elections Commission (CNE) to remove the outdoors placed by the municipality that "referring to the work to be completed in the future", as well as removing the municipal bulletin from the municipality's website and collecting "all printed copies that are available for distribution to the public", following a complaint lodged by the wild PSD.

The CNE gave 24 hours for Rosa Palma, mayor of the CDU, to comply with the decision “under penalty of incurring a crime of disobedience”, as revealed by the PSD/Algarve, in a press release.

The official entity that regulates the electoral process also determined that the mayor of Silves must refrain from, «in the future and until the end of the electoral period, carry out institutional publicity, in relation to any acts, programs, works or services, except in case of serious and urgent public need, under penalty of incurring administrative liability».

The Social Democrats accuse Rosa Palma of being "useira and swindler" in what they consider the "repeated and shameless use of public resources to promote the political party that supports her", a practice that guarantees having denounced "several times."
