«Both the Algarve and those on vacation in the south of the country will be able to participate, free of charge, in recreational and educational activities, promoted by the team of marine educators, as well as deepen their knowledge of the Portuguese sea», says the Oceanário.

"Grandparents, children, adults or families, will have the opportunity to explore the diversity of the ocean, which it provides us, and recognize the value it has for the planet and for all of us," he adds.

«With the aim of promoting the change of behavior in the daily lives of the Portuguese», practical and objective suggestions will also be given «so that each one uses marine resources in a sustainable way», he explains.

The Oceanário Shuttle also addresses topics such as the importance of conscious and sustainable consumption of fish and seafood, and through a quiz, participants get to know the professions of the Lisbon Oceanarium and the role of aquariums in ocean conservation.

The little ones «will also help superhero Vasco to discover what he wants to be when he grows up, getting to know various professions related to the sea, and “navigating” the Portuguese sea guided by the oceanographer king D. Carlos I», he concludes.
