Over the past few days, the Maritime Police of Lagos has inspected the parking of vehicles in the Public Maritime Domain. As part of this action, 15 drivers were fined for parking in “prohibited places”.
According to the Maritime Authority, "it is very often found that most of this type of parking hinders or prevents the circulation of emergency vehicles, resulting in major constraints on the work of rescue and assistance teams."
