The second edition of the Vila Real de Santo António Sport Gala takes place on September 8, at 18 pm, at the António Aleixo Cultural Center, in VRSA.
This ceremony will bring together and pay tribute to the athletes, clubs and sports directors of the municipality who stood out in the last sporting season.
On the same occasion, merit diplomas will also be given to students from schools in the municipality that obtained the best results in terms of School Sports.
In total, athletes from around two dozen clubs and local associations will be distinguished, rewarding their good performance in regional, national and international championships.
During the session, tribute will also be paid to the athlete “Peregrino Algarvio”, taking into account his participation in the half marathon of the European Master Athletics Championship.
The Sport Gala will also give way to music, with performances by various local artists. Admission is free.
