A concert by Ana Moura, the inauguration of the Moinho do Cerro do Malpique and the presentation of the year-end program marked the Municipal Day of Albufeira, on the 20th of August. 

The program also included a solemn session addressed to the deputies of the Albufeira Municipal Assembly, as well as the “12th Proof of the Sea of ​​Albufeira” and a visit to the improvement work of Parque Verde Urbano.
