The company Águas do Algarve, in partnership with the “Ciência Viva no Verão” initiative, will promote guided visits to three of its stations, with an emphasis «to protect the environment and the region's natural resources».

Thus, two of these visits will be to the Water Treatment Plants of Alcantarilha and Tavira, which will take place on the 22nd and 23rd of August, respectively.

Another visit will be made to the Almargem Wastewater Treatment Plant, on the 5th of September.

«Aware of the increasingly important importance for raising awareness and environmental education of the population regarding the environmental issues of our time, Águas do Algarve has once again renewed its partnership with Ciência Viva in the Summer», says Águas do Algarve.

The initiatives are aimed at the general population. For more information about visits to the Alcantarilha ETA, click here. If you want to know more about going to the Tavira ETA, you can click here Finally, if you want more information about the visit to the Almargem WWTP, click here
