The Intermarché of Vila Real de Santo António delivered an ambulance to help and transport patients to the city's Voluntary Fire Department, announced today the French chain of stores.

With this offer, Intermarché says “it is helping the Fire Brigade to provide greater assistance to the local community where the store is located”.

Carlos Gomes, owner of the Intermarché store in Vila Real de Santo António explains that «given the important role of Firefighters in supporting the population, it is essential that they have the necessary means and equipment to provide assistance to the communities. The existence of an emergency means such as an ambulance to help and transport patients can make the difference between life and death – it was in this sense that I decided to make this contribution».
