The exhibition “Writing in Baixo Alentejo from origins to our days” will be on display from the 6th to the 25th of July, at the Museological Nucleus of the Paleocristão Basilica, in Mértola.
At the inauguration, which will start at 21:30 pm, there will be a musical show entitled “2500 years of writing”.
This is an initiative of the Baixo Alentejo Museums Network, which integrates the Intermunicipal Community of Baixo Alentejo (CIMBAL), and which aims to «make known writing in Baixo Alentejo throughout history», explains the Chamber of Mértola.
The exhibition, which is traveling, can be visited, in Mértola, from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 14:00 pm to 17:30 pm
