Infraquinta is the «first distribution entity in the city to deserve water product quality certification», with the presentation of this award taking place on the 28th of July, at 18:00, at the Hotel Quinta do Lago.
According to Infraquinta, the water that "reaches the Quinta do Lago taps has 10 times more control than the law requires."
«For the first time, a distribution entity has successfully completed the careful certification process of the Water Product for Human Consumption, according to Recommendation nº 2/2011 of ERSAR – Regulatory Authority for Water and Waste Services, as a result of the continued investment in quality and security in the water supply to Quinta do Lago's customers», says that municipal company.
The certificate “attests to the good practices developed by Infraquinta, namely the implementation of the Water Safety Plan started in 2014, which in practice, among many other aspects, translates into a control 10 times greater than what the law requires. It also means that Quinta do Lago's water is distributed, controlled, monitored and guaranteed like no other in the country.”, he adds.
The details of this work, the methodology now certified and the practices leading to one of the most sustainable distribution systems in the country will be explained in this presentation, which also reveals the new identity of water.
