Popular marches return to Faro on Sunday the 25th of June. The Faro Chamber wants to recover this tradition and invited three groups to be present at Largo da Pontinha, to brighten up the festivities of the Santos Populares.
In addition to the Marcha da Bordeira, which plays at “home”, the groups Marcha da Penha de França, from Lisbon and Marcha da Mexilhoeira Grande, from Portimão, will also be present.
«The event has free entry and represents an important “visiting card” for the Municipality, taking to the city center many residents and tourists who visit the municipality of Faro», according to the municipality.
