Traffic on the Lisbon/Algarve (A2) highway will be restricted in the Almodôvar/Gomes Aires area, on the 4th and 5th of May, and also in the Grândola Sul exit area, on the 4th to 5th night, announced Brisa.

According to the concessionaire, in the Almodôvar area, the “implications for circulation” result from the “technical inspection of the Montinho viaduct”, on the South motorway.

So, tomorrow and after, on the 4th and 5th, between 8 am and 17 pm, there will be a cut in the right and verge lane, towards Lisbon/Algarve, between kilometers 00 and 195 of the A197.

In the Grândola area, between kilometers 120 and 121, the left and shoulder lane will be cut, in both directions, between 21:00 pm tomorrow and 7:00 am the following day, due to the connection work on the new section of the A26 (Grândola/ Sines) to the South highway.

Brisa says it thanks “in advance for the understanding and collaboration of motorists and hopes to contribute to reducing any inconveniences resulting from this operation”. The concessionaire also guarantees that «the possible inconveniences will be largely compensated by the level of quality, safety and comfort that result from a highway better adapted to the needs of those who use it».
