Pedro Lemos, journalist of Sul Informação, received this Monday, 22 May, a diploma concerning the 2nd place achieved in the Sport with Ethics Award for the Regional Press, in a ceremony that took place at Palácio da Foz (Sport Museum), in Lisbon.

The award ceremony was part of the CNID Awards ceremony (Association of Sport Journalists). “This award gives me great strength. Next year, I hope to come back again," he said Pedro Lemos, author of the award-winning article “At Enxerim, gymnastics is (really) for everyone".

The 1st place in the Sport with Ethics Award for the Regional Press was given to Patrícia Duarte, from the weekly «Região de Leiria», with the work “Podium: Not even when they win they can get there”.

An honorable mention was also given to Vítor Augusto Andrade dos Santos, for the work he has been developing, dedicating several articles to topics related to Sports Ethics.

At this CNID gala, which marked 51 years of existence, Ricardo Ferreira, goalkeeper for Portimonense, received the award for best player in the II League. Rui Vitória, Benfica coach, was the best coach of the year and Bas Dost, Sporting forward, was the best player.
