O Algarve Biomedical Center (ABC) and the Hospital Particular do Algarve (HPA) signed, this Tuesday, 23 May, at 11:30 am, in the seminar room of the rectory of the University of Algarve (UAlg), a protocol for «more and better health» in region.
This document aims to "close the partnership" between the two bodies. «The ABC aims at the continuous improvement of health care to be provided to the population, developing research activities and pre- and post-graduate training for health professionals, allowing the Algarve to access innovation in this area», explains UAlg.
The Hospital Particular do Algarve (HPA) «has long been established in the Algarve as an institution of innovative character and with a high standard of quality in healthcare», considers the Algarve Academy.
Taking into account the common objectives, ABC and HPA then decided to join efforts in the areas of research, innovation, training and improvement of health care, aiming to provide better care to the Algarve and those who visit them.
