Odeleite will once again be the stage for the Festa do 1º de Maio, in the municipality of Castro Marim. Sports activities, music and gastronomy are some of the proposals to spend the day in this village, which is once again embellished with flowers.
«Picturesque and recognized for its uniqueness, the village of Odeleite is enriched at this time of year with the exhibition of the “Maios” and the “Aldeia Florida” initiative, which enhances this village, so particular, with colorful flowers arranged in the patios, in the windows and in the corners of the houses, celebrating the arrival of spring», says the Chamber of Castro Marim.
As far as the party is concerned, it starts at 10:00 am, with inflatables, slides, canoeing and climbing.
For 12:00, the traditional sardine is scheduled, free of charge and accompanied by bread and wine. In the afternoon, there will be a ball with “Grupo + 2”, the performance of Rancho Folclórico do Azinhal and the artist “Ruizinho de Penacova”, at 18 pm. Simultaneously, there is a Mercadinho, with local and regional crafts and sweets.
The “Worker's Day” is organized by the Social Association of the Parish of Odeleite and the Parish Council, with the support of the Municipality of Castro Marim.
