A fire in Santana da Serra, in the municipality of Ourique, has been consuming an area of forest since the beginning of this afternoon, on the 17th of April. In the fight against the flames there are 50 operational, 16 vehicles and an aerial means.
To what Sul Informação learned from the District Command of Relief Operations (CDOS) of Beja the fire has already had two active fronts, but one has already been subdued.
The alert was given at 13:51 pm and, according to the same source, there are no homes at risk.
The aerial means present in the fight against the flames is the Kamov helicopter, based in Loulé.
