There are 35 companies, large, medium, small and even micro, and there would be more if there was space. The Careers Fair at the University of Algarve has been going on since yesterday and can still be visited today, March 15th, at the Penha Campus Teaching Complex at UAlg, in Faro.
Over the two days of the event, companies and official entities show themselves to those who intend to enter the labor market, which are expected to make their presence felt in force. UAlg expects that «about a thousand students will pass by the fair, a substantially higher number than last year».
In this second edition of the event, there was such a demand that UAlg was forced "to refuse the presence of some companies, as space is limited", he revealed to Sul Informação University spokesman André Botelheiro. «Next year, the space will be bigger», he guaranteed.
Until 18:00 this Wednesday, those interested can still visit the Penha Campus, to get to know the companies present a little better and make job applications.
