The “3rd Solidary Walk” of the Confraria do Bacchus de Albufeira is scheduled for next Sunday, March 12, with a concentration scheduled for 9:30 am, next to the Nuclealgarve Pavilion, in Fontaínhas.
It is at this location that registrations and donations for the institutions present take place. These can be food, personal and household care products and clothing.
The walk starts at 11:00 am and consists of a route of medium/low difficulty. Upon arrival, a stretching session, entertainment, raffles and prize giving are planned.
There will also be lunch (optional) which costs five euros.
According to the Municipality of Albufeira, which supports the event, the «program includes a screening by the Portuguese Red Cross and an awareness-raising action by the Albufeira Voluntary Fire Service».
