O Armação de Pêra General Rain Drainage Plan will be presented on February 10th, at 18 pm, at the headquarters of the “Os Armacenenses” Football Club. The session also includes the hearing of the population.
The Municipality of Silves explains that «the main objective of the plan is to find and adopt solutions to reduce the problems of flooding in the old part of the village, solutions that will include strengthening the existing infrastructure, increasing the reserve capacity, diversion of flows in the area. low, installation of tidal valves and elevation of flow'.
This plan will also contemplate the reconstruction of the rainwater discharge channel to the Ribeira de Alcantarilha and the installation of a pumping system.
The permanent executive of the Chamber of Silves will be present at the session and will participate in the public hearing. The company Hidra – Hidráulica e Ambiente, which is going to carry out the work, is going to make a technical presentation of the plan.
