This Friday, February 17th, at 19:30 pm, the São Brás de Alportel Costume Museum will host a concert by Leviticus, a group composed of musicians from St. Petersburg (Russia), directed by Ilie Corotoriu, one of the conductors of the Bolshoi Theater.

This show will be a unique opportunity to attend a concert that will recall the work of some unavoidable names in Russian and European classical music.

The group Leviticus will present works by Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky, traditional Russian music and even music klezmer.

On stage will be Yevgeny Zhelinski, composer and master of Balalaika, a traditional Russian instrument, accompanied by a group of exceptional musicians.

Directed by Ilie Corotoriu, one of the conductors of the Bolshoi Theater and artistic director of the St. Petersburg Music Festival, the group Leviticus he has worked in several countries, such as the United States of America, England, Israel and Japan.

The concert also has a solidary aspect, as the box office revenues will revert to helping the young São Brasense Miriam, “the little fighter”, need the treatments.
