Jardim do Coreto, in Tavira, will be invaded by 1300 small revelers. The Children's Carnival parade goes out on the 24th of February, at 10:00 am, and will bring together children from pre-school establishments and schools from the 1st cycle of public and private education in the municipality. In the following days, the older ones will also have the opportunity to play at Carnival, in masked balls that take place in the Mercado da Ribeira.

At the children's party, there will be no lack of “colour, music and many streamers” and space will be given to the imagination of the little ones, as the theme is free, to “appeal to creativity”. «The most varied costumes will fill the city center with joy and will provide moments of joy for everyone present», anticipates Câmara de Tavira, which promotes the event.

The carnival festivities in Tavira do not stop there. From the 25th to the 28th of February, at 21 pm, there are masked balls at the Mercado da Ribeira, an initiative jointly organized by the City Council, the Tavira Parish Council and the Lado a Lado Project.

On the 25th, a Saturday, the ball will be animated by the Orquestra Zeca Fradique New Portugal Band, on the following day, Sunday, it will be Fábio Lagarto's turn to take the stage, followed by the band Trianima, on the 27th. , the animation is in charge of La Plante Mutante.
