IPDJ seeks volunteer animators for project on internet security

The Portuguese Institute of Sport and Youth is looking for volunteer animators to participate in the project «Navega(s) en Segurança?», which will take place from January 17th to July 14th (75 effective days) at the Ponto Já store of the Direction Regional of the Algarve of the IPDJ, in Faro.

The objective of this initiative, open to young people between the ages of 18 and 30, «to contribute to the development of responsible and safe use of the Internet, through information sessions and awareness-raising actions aimed at children, young people, parents/educators and citizens in general'.

The IPDJ is looking for young volunteer animators who have «knowledge in information and communication technologies, good communication skills, ease of interpersonal relationships» and who are enrolled in the Youth Volunteering program «Now we are». Preference will be given to those who present a certificate of teaching skills and who have previously participated “in the SID and/or in Naveg@s”.
