A 44-year-old man was arrested on Friday, the 27th, in Vila do Bispo, when he was hunting at night, illegally, in an associative hunting zone in that municipality.
The soldiers from the GNR Environmental Protection Center in Portimão who detained the hunter, "indicted for the crime of hunting outside the respective periods and days", seized a carbine, with its respective bag, a night vision telescopic sight, a trigger lock, a club, an ammunition belt and 16 7,62mm rounds.
The man was caught when he was hunting at night, without a license and outside the authorized period, in that associative hunting zone, by the process of waiting for big game.
The detainee will be present at the Court of Lagos tomorrow.
