Journalists from all over the world will visit the Algarve, until Friday, January 27th, to see the new Honda CBR 1000RR Fireblade SP, which is being presented at the Algarve International Circuit.
According to the AIA, "big names in motorcycling" are also present "to test the long-awaited Fireblade".
In addition to the approximately 150 journalists who are following the presentation of the new Honda “machine”, guests and staff from the Japanese brand are also in the region during this event.
The AIA adds that this presentation “is marked by the presence of Freddie Spencer, Three-time Moto GP Champion in the 80s, Tito Rabat, Moto 2 Champion in 2015 and current Moto GP rider, Dan Linfoot and Jason O'Halloran, riders of the British Superbike Championship and John McGuinness, one of the most successful TT riders ever».
This Honda presentation is at the Autodromo, less than a month after having received the presentations of the Mercedes-AMG E63 and the Mercedes-AMG GT R.
Between November and December, "hundreds of guests passed through the Algarve circuit, including journalists and photographers from renowned national and international media", says the AIA.
During these events, Mercedes-AMG made a promotional video «where it presents the idea that the Drift days are back».
Former Formula 1 driver Bernd Schneider, five times DTM champion and Mercedes-AMG ambassador, also made a 360-degree video featuring the Mercedes-AMG E63 on the track of the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve.
