storm at seaThe maritime bars of Tavira, Vila Real de Santo António, Faro and Alvor are closed this Saturday due to strong maritime agitation, informs the Portuguese Navy.

On the Portuguese mainland coast there are three other bars subject to navigation. One of them is São Martinho do Porto, which is subject to all navigation due to silting, and can only be practiced at high tide.

The bars at Vila do Conde and Póvoa do Varzim are conditioned to vessels with a draft greater than two meters, which must use the bar only between two hours before and up to two hours after high tide.
