The public consultation period for the project to implement a Tourism Development Center (NDT) in Lugar da Maragota, in the Union of Parishes of Moncarapacho and Fuseta, has been ongoing since Friday and will run until the end of December (20 days Useful).
The population can get to know and comment on the proposal for the creation of a NDT in this town of Olhão, which was presented by the company Maragota – Exploration Hoteleira, the only company to submit a bid for the public tender «Implementation of a Tourist Development Center in the Territorial Unit of the South and Barrocal Coast», launched by the municipality of Olhão.
"The proposal was accepted, although subject to prior selection analysis, but its execution depends on the development and approval of a Detailed Plan", revealed the Chamber of Olhão.
The project foresees that “a tourist complex to support sports activities, consisting of two tourist units, with a total of 400 beds”, will be born in that place, with the tourist development occupying a total area of about 26 hectares.
“An investment of around 40,5 million Euros is planned, with the creation of 108 jobs being foreseen”, added the municipality of Olho.
The proposal can be consulted on the Chamber of Olhão website or, in person, at the Balcão Único da Autarchy, at Largo Sebastião Martins Mestre.
Interested parties must submit their observations or suggestions regarding the proposal in question by the 20th of December, in writing, in a letter addressed to the mayor of Olhão, with identification, address and contact of the signatory, in case a request is justified. answer.
