15 minutes just after sunset and 15 minutes before sunrise. This is the new start time for public lighting in the municipality of Lagos which «constitutes an additional financial effort on the part of the Municipality».
This measure is intended, in the opinion of the Municipality of Lagos, «to contribute to an ever-increasing level of security for its residents and visitors».
Extending the hours of public lighting is only possible "taking into account the measures provided for in the area of energy efficiency in the municipality", concludes the municipality of Lagos.
