Trapeze numbers, trampoline, bicycle stunts in unstable balance, music, sweets, imagination and contemporary humor are some of the many activities that will give life and joy to the great end-of-year show of the «365 Algarve» program and the Algarve region, Maintenant or Never, which will perform from December 29th to December 31st, in Monchique.
The cultural program «365 Algarve», which boosts tourism in the low season, presents this New Circus show for the whole family and specially designed for the end of the year festivities. Integrated in the project «Farming the Sea, The Arts in Alto da Serra and Costa Vicentina", the circus Maintenant or Never (Now or Never) will end the year in Monchique.
Formed in 2004 in France, «Chelptel Aleikoum, Circa Tsuica» is part of a creative group that seeks an art form close to its time, peculiar and original. Composed of twelve artists, musicians and acrobats, «Cheptel Aleikoum, Circa Tsuica» transforms the 670 square meters of a traditional circus tent into an arena prepared to host an unforgettable party.
Prepared to host 400 people per session, the show by Novo Circo arrives in the Algarve on December 29th, 30th and 31st, at 21 pm, at the Monchique Helipad (Google Maps), at a party lasting approximately two hours, with the exception of New Year's Eve, when the circus stretches its breath until after midnight.
Parking is free and the value of tickets varies between 2,50 euros (children up to 12 years old) and 5,00 euros (adults). The show is for over 6 years old, but children over 3 years old may be admitted, subject to prior notice from the organization.
