Former swimmer Alexandre Agostinho is the new president of the Algarve Swimming Association (Analgarve) for the 2016-2020 quadrennium, with elections taking place this Saturday, during a competition in Albufeira.
The electoral act for the social bodies of Analgarve took place during the Christmas Tournament for categories. From a universe of 24 delegates, representatives of clubs, swimming associations and other representatives of the Algarve, 17 delegates voted. List A was elected with 17 votes, representing a 71% vote.
The new management, which applied under the motto «A Mergulho no Futuro», intends to «help to develop and spread the practice of swimming in the Algarve, contributing for it to reach its maximum potential, applying all the knowledge, experience and dedication to the sport of the entire team».
