Organ of the Board of FaroTadeu Filipe will close the Algarve Organ Festival, this Saturday, the 26th of November, with a concert at the Igreja da Sé de Faroat 21 pm.

Tadeu Filipe comes "from the other end of the country", from Vila Real. The musician began his studies in organ at the Diocesan School of Liturgical Ministries of Porto. He has a degree in Music Teaching (Organ) from the University of Aveiro, with a postgraduate degree. He attended international courses with personalities such as Antoine Sibertin-Blanc, Jesus Gonzalo Lopez, José Luís Uriol, Ton Koopmann, Andrés Cea Gálan, among others.

He teaches organ at the Regional Conservatory of Music of Vila Real and the Conservatory of Music and Dance of Bragança, where he is responsible for the Sacred Music Cycle. He is organist at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Porto.
The Festival's closing program includes composers such as Podbielski, Zachow, López, Larrañaga and Arresti, who, according to Associação Música XXI, which promotes the Algarve Organ Festival, «will certainly be a source of curiosity for the public».

The Festival had 10 music concerts for Organ that crossed the region, creating new audiences in Portimão, Boliqueime and Tavira.

«Concerts always with a large audience, warm and very interested in musical works and, in particular, in historical instruments that they were often unaware of», refers to Associação Música XXI.

The Algarve Organ Festival – 2016 is organized by Associação Cultural Música XXI. It has the support of the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve and the Municipalities of Faro, Loulé, Tavira and Portimão, with support for the dissemination of the Algarve Tourism Region and with communication partners Antena 2, Sul Informação and STREET FM.
