The Friends' Choir of the Museu do Traje will animate São Brás de Alportel and Tavira with a solidarity Christmas concert, with songs from the work «Messias» by Handel, on December 9, at 21 pm, at the Igreja Matriz in São Brás, on the day next, at 00 pm, at Museu do Traje, in São Brás, and on December 18, at 00 pm, at Igreja da Misericórdia de Tavira.
In addition to the three "most popular songs in this section" by Handel, there will be the "other song" which will be, "as is usual with Amigos, a wide range of songs from different times and languages, including Portuguese, French, the German and English, from medieval to modern», explains the organization.
The audience will be invited “not only to hum along with us, but to sing vigorously if they so wish”. «Folk Christmas songs and their scores with the respective lyrics, will give you the opportunity to participate in this celebration», says the Coro dos Amigos do Museu do Traje.
The first concert, at the Igreja Matriz, is free, while the ticket to see the show at the Museu do Traje costs 5 euros, as well as the concert in Tavira.
