karlpetersson_pbKarl Magnus-Petterson, researcher and coordinator of Center for Biomedical Research (CBMR) from the University of Algarve, was one of the most cited authors in 2016, according to the communication agency Thomson Reuters.

That research center in Algarve reveals that «the work of the researcher, in the field of neuroscience, is thus identified, at an international level, as one of the most valuable and significant in the area».

"Given that, to date, very few researchers have been awarded this distinction, Karl Magnus-Petterson will for life enjoy the status of 'highly cited researcher', one of the highest distinctions awarded by the Canadian media agency," concluded the CBMR.
