The "Neurophysiological Reflection of Autism" will be the motto of the 29th of October (Saturday), with lecturers Helder Jesus Rita (GNPCAlgarve) and Catarina Lucas (UBI), who address, respectively, the genetic basis behind the symptoms of autism, already known, and anxiety, in a distinction between what can be defined as normal and pathological.

The 31st Conference of the Algarve's Department of Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology will continue on October 14 (Monday), from 00 pm, with the theme “Emotions and Cognitions”, in a lecture by the psychiatrist António Barbosa. This day ends with a round table, which focuses on the different technical approaches – psychiatric and psychological – to the Emotions and Pathologies that are related to them.

The closing of these Conferences, on November 1st, focuses on the psychological current of Existentialism, which translates into the identification, solidification and potentialization of the essence of the Individual.
