PhotographyFaro will host a training course in digital photography, promoted by the Protocol Center for Training in Journalism (Cenjor), from 11 to 27 November. The course «Fluxo Fotográfico Digital» has a total of 50 hours and will take place at the Arco gallery, in the historic area of the Algarve capital, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The initiative, jointly organized by Cenjor and ALFA – Free Association of Photographers of the Algarve, will allow those who frequently «gain skills in RAW processing tools, image editing and preparation for the most diverse outputs, as a support for photojournalistic and of photographic reportage”, according to the Algarve association.

The training is aimed at photographers, journalists, communication technicians, employees in the field of communication and image, designers and media production professionals.

The base price of training is 100 euros per person, but there is a 50 percent discount for ALFA members, journalists and other media professionals “who present a statement from the employer proving their current activity”. Unemployed persons benefit from exemption from the attendance fee, for which they must submit a declaration from the Employment Centre.

Those interested in signing up should do it online. For more information, contact Cenjor at 218855011 (Conceição Cardoso) or email [email protected], or with Carlos Cruz from ALFA, through 91 7560960. Enrollments are limited and are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
