This concert is part of the program for the new season of this concert hall.

Dino D'Santiago was born in 1982, in Quarteira, to Cape Verdean parents in the interior of Santiago. It was in the Algarve climate that he found «the perfect setting to take his first steps in the world of arts, in a very early and fertile link between music and religious faith, as a result of his family environment», says Câmara de Loulé

After being a finalist for Operation Triunfo, in 2003, and a member of Expensive Soul's support band, Dino wanted to give voice to those experiences by releasing his first solo album in 2008: “Eu e os Meus”.

In 2012, Dino takes on the pseudonym Dino D'Santiago to start exploring a musical aspect more linked to his roots. Cape Verdean Creole and Portuguese are the dominant languages, in an Afro fusion that combines traditional Creole rhythms with fado, soul, R&B and so many other styles that result from the performer's experiences.

The album “Eva”, which paid tribute to her origin and the place where her family comes from (Assomada – Poilão de Boa Entrada), has the musical contribution of prestigious artists from various latitudes of Portuguese speaking, having been considered a of the best world music albums by the judges of the European World Music Charts 2013 and winning, in 2014, two Cape Verde Music Awards.

In July 2016, he released the EP “Unplugged”, a work that brings him together with musicians Tuniko Goulart (guitar), Miroca Paris (percussion), Gileno Santana (trumpet) and Khaly Angel (piano), and in which he signs all the songs except for track 2 – “Monti Graciosa” – by the musician Vadú, and the theme by Louis Armstrong “What a wonderful world”, cover which is the bonus track.
