The Parish Council of Portimão offered school supplies to small customers who attend the 1st year of the 1st cycle of Basic Education. The delivery of the material aimed to "welcome students who are now starting their school career and minimize the burden on families", according to the municipality.
The kit offered included a backpack, case, notebooks, charcoal and colored pencils, coloring pens, eraser, sharpeners, scissors and even a mug.
Students received the material on the first day of classes, during student reception.
