A Public Internet Post will be inaugurated tomorrow, Saturday, at the former primary school of Pedra Mourinha, in Portimão. In addition to a free Wi-Fi network, the space will have two computers, television and a small library.
This is a commitment by the Parish Council of Portimão, in partnership with the Portimão City Council, which aims to «providing free access to new technologies and the holding of events and activities, in order to combat isolation, promote active aging and socialization between young people and seniors».
The first event will take place tomorrow. Right after the official opening of the space, there will be a popular festival and there will be musical entertainment.
In a first phase, the space will be open from Monday to Friday, between 14:30 pm and 17:30 pm.
