The tone for the party will be set by the blues band Fried Fanekas, followed by performances by Genoveva Faisca, Inês Pinto Machado, Manuela Lopes and Teresa Aleixo. Saxophonist Martin Teutscher and DJ Mike complete the poster. For a snack, there will be several options for food and bar service.

The Jazz Club has been organizing concerts of this musical style in São Brás for ten years, an idea of the Dutch resident of Portugal Eveline Sakkers.

«In São Brás de Alportel, a place she chose to enjoy a calm and healthy retirement, Eveline found a space where she was welcomed and had the opportunity to “do something”», according to the City of São Brás.

«In Holland we have a strong jazz culture, and I thought I would do the same here, a musical alternative for Sunday afternoons», explained Eveline Sakkers, who assures that, due to the work associated with the show and the fame that the club has already achieved , «many musicians want to come back and there are those who really want to come and act».

Over a decade, the Museum's Jazz Club has already promoted around 100 concerts, attended by thousands of people and performed by artists of different nationalities.

In this way, considers the São Paulo municipality, the club assumed «a preponderant role in the dissemination of this musical genre in the Algarve, representing, at the same time, an example of the important contribution made by the foreign community in the cultural dynamics of the county and in the activities developed by the Friends of the Museum ».
