Students who enroll in the 10th grade, at Escola Secundária de Silves, will receive 10 euros support from the City Council to buy school supplies in the stationery of this educational establishment.
With this initiative, the municipality intends to “stimulate the establishment of young students of this level of education, whose number has been decreasing over the last few years, trying to increase the municipality's school population and its retention”.
At the same time, the Municipality of Silves guarantees that it will seek “to collaborate with households that may have some financial difficulties, contributing to the reduction of expenses that are always high at the beginning of the school year”.
