A Multicultural Party in the historic area of the town, a 29-minute swim at Monte Clérigo beach, a mega sardine on the beach, with a ball and a show by José Cid, are Aljezur's way of celebrating its Municipal Holiday.
The official celebrations of the Municipal Holiday of Aljezur begin in the afternoon and evening of 28 August, with the already traditional Multicultural Festival in the historic area of Aljezur.
From 16 pm onwards, there will be several points of interest: handicrafts, taverns, fado, popular music, classical music, jazz, Alentejo singing, DJ, among others. The dress code will once again be white.
On the 29th, the highlight goes to the traditional Bath of 29 at Monte Clérigo Beach, the Mega Sardinhada from 18 pm, followed by a ball, delivery of school merit awards and a show with José Cid.
