Castelo de Silves is once again the stage for another Sunset Secrets – Quintas do Castelo session, this time, with the performance of the Rerum Ensemble, next Thursday, 28 July. The event starts at 18:30 pm and ends at 23:00 pm.
In addition to themes from its repertoire, the Rerum Ensemble also interprets jazz classics and songs by Zeca Afonso.
There will also be moments of oriental dance and fusion, with the dancer Mónica Pereira, and free relaxation massages, with the therapist Lúcia Guerreiro.
According to the Câmara de Silves, «the Sunset Secrets – Quintas do Castelo will also be a space for the promotion of gastronomy and local products, with the collaboration of Café Castelo de Silves and the Algarve Wine Route, which during the break in the musical show will promote gastronomic demonstrations and tastings of “Wines from Silves ", a cooking show of algarvian cataplana and the presentation of a product made from “Silves Capital da Laranja” orange”.
On this day, the highlight will be the red Barranco Longo and white Quinta dos Vales wines. The product made with orange will be a handmade orange sorbet with arbutus.
Tickets cost 5 euros for the general public, and 2 euros for residents in the municipality of Silves. The maximum capacity for this event will be 300 people.
