The area of Quatro Águas, opposite Ilha de Tavira and where the anchorage from which boats depart for this bathing area is located, has been renovated and will be officially inaugurated tomorrow, Wednesday. The work has been completed for some time and brought about an authentic revolution in the ordering and image of this space.
The intervention, which was awarded at the end of 2014, aimed at rehabilitating the terrestrial public space, which aimed at improving access to Quatro Águas, renovating the area next to the loading dock to Ilha de Tavira and recovering the banks and slopes .
The work also made it possible to organize the parking lot, through the restructuring of the existing parking area next to the Clube Náutico. The car park with an earth floor, located outside the Polis intervention area, remains in operation.
The works cost around 2,3 million euros and were carried out under the Polis Litoral Ria Formosa Program.
