The comedy play "Dear Mother, Dear Mother!" will premiere in Vila Real de Santo António and can be seen at the António Aleixo Cultural Center, in that county, on the 1,3st and 8th of August, always at 22 pm.
The show by the II Acto company tells the daily story of «a part-time housewife, a grandmother in her spare time, a wife whenever she's convenient, a daughter-in-law when it's needed and a full-time mother», in a humorous approach to a Portuguese family of XXI century.
«Maria (played by João Frizza) is the matriarch of a popular XNUMXst century family that survives all the crises imposed by society: crisis of values, financial crisis, anxiety crisis and even asthma crisis! A mother who struggles daily to make peace with life, and with her children», describes the II Act.
The cast is headed by João Frizza, who are joined by Vitor Martins, Madalena Carvalho, Rita Livramento, Catarina Claro, Diogo Chamorra, Ana Rita Sousa, Maria Sousa, Conceição Caldeira and Pedro Viegas.
