Café Aliança only opened for two hours, for a reopening ceremony open to the city, but it seemed that the whole city had taken a leap to the Baixa, to witness with their own eyes the rebirth of this ex-libris of the Algarve capital.
On the terrace and inside the cafe, people took the opportunity to sit at the new tables, seated on the new chairs and benches. In fact, everything looks new, although you can't help but feel that you've entered the same old Alliance, largely due to the maintenance of the building's layout and the photos on the wall, among other elements.
